Within the blocked quotes are feedback from some of you. Underneath are some of my comments.

Ask yourself “what motive does this person or group have in presenting these ideas or points of view”

We always have to experiment and validate any theories / prinicples and try to find new evidence on conformance to the rule as well as situations where the principle falls apart. That is part of the validation process. However, knowing the motive or the source of information is irrelevant despite of motive and intention. We want to maintain impartiality regardless of the source.

To find an undefended area to follow through with your choice of action

I believe in creating opportunities and not wait for openings. Furthermore, obvious opportunities can be traps too.

The aspect/attributes question………ok, I’m really lost on that one.

To relate to something already covered in class, “levels” is one aspect that you can change with different attributes / values (high, low and anything in between). During a fight, there are things that are under your control. Aspects categorizes things and simplies the thinking process, if you deal with each of the values that you can vary, it creates unnecessary complexity in the thinking process.

Training and recovery – Training stress the body and allow it to adapt to the high demands and become stronger. Recovery is needed for the body to repair itself and to make itself stronger as an adaptation to the training demands.

Yes, all the above are true but did you just talk about recovery or did you actually start looking into active recovery methods? Did you look at how you can train harder? To avoid talking gibberish and abstracts, you need to try to extend your capability from where you are today – both spectrum.

The magic bullet should be trained to be as effective as possible, yet the back up should be different from and not similar to the magic bullet. That being said, back up could be a running sprint away.

As we experimented during one of the class, something as simple as running away takes planning, practice and awareness of its limitations.

Guess what, no homework to allow some of you to catch up. However, I still feel that read the post again and if you can make the blog posts relevant, than you have gained something. Otherwise, this just serves some good bedtime reading. Do that for yourself! 🙂
