A single zebra amongst other horses is easy to spot. However, the same zebra amongst a herd of zebras will be challenging. Characteristics that you use to differentiate one from another can be useless under different circumstances.

The image above looks like we have 3 squares there. From that single angle, you don’t even know if it is an object or simply multiple 2D squares.

If you have the opportunity to look at the object from different angles, you find out more.

Guess what, even after you looked at it, you may immediately jump to the conclusion that it is a picture of three 3D objects of different shape. Truth is that it is still really a flat picture with lines on it that conveys the 3D impression.

A lot of times, common sense escape us when we put on blinders. To experience the whole thing, you need to be able to see it from more than one angle. Limiting your viewpoint is almost the “6 blind men trying to describe an elephant“.
